1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy (effective from 15 January 2026) explains how personal data is collected, used, and protected when you interact with my website, membership, community, courses, newsletter, and coaching services.

As a sole trader based in the European Union, I act as the data controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to individuals who:

  • Visit my website
  • Join my membership or online community
  • Purchase or access courses or digital products
  • Subscribe to my newsletter or email communications
  • Participate in coaching, live sessions, or related services

All services are intended for adults only. I do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 16.

I may collect the following personal data directly from you:

  • Account or profile information (such as username or profile photo)
  • Messages, posts, comments, or content you share in the community or platforms
  • Photos you choose to upload
  • Audio, video, image, and voice recordings from live sessions you participate in
  • Notes and information shared during coaching calls or applications
  • Technical data such as IP address and basic usage data (where provided by platforms)

I do not store payment card details. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers.

4. Live Sessions and Recordings

When you participate in live sessions (including workshops, coaching calls, roundtables, or community calls):

  • Your name, image, and voice may appear in the recording
  • These recordings may be made available inside the course or membership platform
  • Recordings may remain accessible to current and future members even if you leave the programme or cancel your membership

By choosing to participate in live sessions with your camera or microphone enabled, you acknowledge and accept this use of your personal data.

If you prefer not to appear in recordings, you may choose to keep your camera and microphone turned off or not participate live.

5. How I Collect Personal Data

Personal data is collected when you:

  • Sign up for an account, membership, or course
  • Subscribe to my newsletter
  • Participate in the community or post content
  • Join live sessions or coaching calls
  • Communicate with me by email
  • Use forms that include UTM or attribution tracking

6. How I Use Personal Data

Your personal data is used for the following purposes:

  • Providing access to memberships, courses, and services
  • Managing user accounts and authentication
  • Facilitating community interaction and moderation
  • Delivering coaching, live sessions, and feedback
  • Creating and maintaining educational recordings and materials
  • Processing payments and related administration
  • Sending newsletters, updates, and service-related communications
  • Sharing information about my own offers and services
  • Improving content, services, and user experience
  • Meeting legal, accounting, and compliance obligations

I do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling with legal or significant effects.

Under GDPR, I rely on the following lawful bases:

  • Legitimate interests: to operate, improve, document, and maintain my educational programmes and community

8. Email Communications

I send both transactional and marketing emails using:

  • Kit (formerly ConvertKit)
  • Skool’s built-in email system
  • Gumroad's built-in email system

Email tracking may include open and click tracking. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Transactional or service-related emails may still be sent where necessary.

9. Analytics and Tracking

I use limited tracking for attribution and internal insights, including:

  • Email open and click tracking
  • UTM parameters on forms and within the community

I do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-context behavioural advertising.

10. Sharing Personal Data

I share personal data only where necessary to operate my services, including with:

  • Payment processors such as Gumroad
  • Community and course platforms such as Skool
  • Email service providers such as Kit
  • Form and infrastructure tools
  • Contractors who provide operational, technical, or moderation support and may have limited access to personal data where required

All service providers and contractors are required to handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

I do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.

11. International Data Transfers

Some service providers I use are located outside the European Union, including in the United States.

Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, I rely on appropriate safeguards, such as:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission
  • Equivalent legal mechanisms provided by the service provider

12. Data Retention

I do not currently apply a fixed retention period.

In general, personal data is retained:

  • For as long as you have an active account or relationship with me
  • For a reasonable period afterward for operational, educational, legal, or accounting purposes
  • For recorded materials, as long as they remain part of the course or membership content
  • Until you request deletion, where applicable and legally permissible

  • Request deletion of your data (subject to contractual and legal limitations)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information is collected and how it is used
